Holiday Festivals in New Orleans

Cool fronts bring in the cool times in the city of New Orleans. Winter Festivals are gearing up and we’re ready to inform you about where to be to ensure a great experience.

Bayou Bacchanal (November 2nd-November 3rd)

First on the list is Bayou Bacchanal, which is the original Caribbean Carnival of the city. This year will be the 16th installment of the annual celebration of Caribbean culture. Grab your finest and head to Crescent Park for Caribbean food, elaborate costumes, and of course in classic New Orleans fashion: a festive parade!

Boudin, Bourbon and Beer (November 9th)

Taking place right outside our window is the 8th annual one-night wonder of marvelous food and spirits. This night features a mixture of 70 local and national chefs. If the food options are not enough to knock your literal socks off, the live musical performances and lounge area with selective premium cigars will definitely do the trick. Gather the gang and head to Champion Square to enjoy.

Celebration In The Oaks (November 23rd– January 1st

A can’t miss New Orleans classic in it’s 32nd year. Celebration in the Oaks is a bright and family-oriented tradition where locals and tourists alike venture to City Park to marvel at lights and movement of their wildest dreams. Over the years Celebration In The Oaks has become one of the most beautiful and memorable holiday light displays in the country. It’s like walking through a living fairy-tale.

Luna Fete (December 6th– December 9th)

Presented by the Arts Council of New Orleans, located in the nearby Lafayette Square, and known as one of New Orleans’ most unique festivals,  Luna Fete stands for Light Up Nola Arts. It blends historic and contemporary architecture filled with motion graphics and sound installations.  Visitors get to enjoy art on a unusually large scale with the city as its backdrop.
